ALEX NELSON:BORN TO BE WILD...

Alex Nelson, guitarist for Lizzy Borden's band, off and on for nearly 20 years, more on than off, died in a car accident on May 17th, 2004. RIP ALEX, you are greatly missed.

QUOTE FROM LIZZY:::::

"He had a connection to everybody. I'm usually very business like, and don't like to screw around too much when we're working. He felt it was his job to break that down, and try to have more fun. He was the only one that could break down the wall; for some reason, he had that ability with everyone. Even though I always told him he was the most talented musician I've ever worked with in every way, He never really thought he was all that talented. People would ask him who his influences are, and he would say 'everything I've ever seen or heard.' I used to love that quote as it was so true of all of us.

MY FIRST ALEX EXPEIRENCE::::

BY: LISH "ROCKIN" GREEN

Not many know my story, I'm not one to actually go around bragging about meeting Rockstars, though some are pretty exciting to me, it's an experience and a memory I DO treasure for a lifetime though...

The first time I remember meeting Alex, was at The Rainbow Bar and Grill on Sunset Strip in Hollywood, I believe it was after a Cinderella show at the Key Club. Alex actually approached me, introduced himself and Lizzy...pretty short conversation, but a memory that will last forever. I was very flattered that out of ALL the people there that he had approached me. Never seen him for awhile, so I posted on a Lizzy message board "Where's Alex?"...Next thing I knew he actually answered and from that moment on, we were friends...He's at the top of my list of ALL time favorite ROCKSTARS, I've ever met and I have a lifetime memory to go with it...A great soul whose life ended way to soon...
