HAIR NATION FESTIVAL

I remember being in Missouri back when the 80's era all began for me and dreaming of someday being in California where it all seemed like "Nothing But A Good Time". I may not accomplish everything I ever want in this life, but I have come so much further than that small town in Missouri and ONLY dreaming that dream.

This was the 2nd year for Hair Nation and the last at Irvine Meadows, unfortunately, Irvine Meadows will be closing down.

My day started off like any other day. We even left a little bit early, hoping to avoid most of the traffic. So, nearly 3 hours later, we finally arrive, obviously I never counted on that much traffic.

YAY, we're here, get our tickets from will call, barely get in our seats and the first band we see is TUFF(Stevie Rachelle, Todd Chassion,Tod T Bur and Howie Simon), and as always, the performance was great...

Next up was VAIN, which I can mark off my bucketlist, a band I've wanted to see for a very long time, AND YES, I was not disappointed, they delivered.

On comes Britny Fox, a first for me as well, never seen them back in the day, so can't really say either way. I know I did like this version.

With so many bands continulously changing members, some are better to adjust to than others.

So much was going on at the same times it was kind of hard to keep track of what was happening and where. There was Faster Pussycat and LA Guns(with Phil and Traci) it was hard to decide which one to see.

Other bands included Gabbie Rae, Bang Tango, Pretty Boy Floyd, Kix, Slaughter, Bret Michaels, Vince Neil...
