HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES SUPERGROUP

By: Lish "Rockin" Green

Hollywood Vampires started back in the 70's by singer Alice Cooper, it started out as a celebrity drinking club. They still have a plaque that hangs in the Rainbow Bar and Grill, in Hollywood. In 2015, Alice Cooper formed a supergroup with actor Johnny Depp and Joe Perry of Aerosmith under the name.

I myself have loved this band from the moment I heard them. The band is made up of Alice Cooper, whom I have loved since way back in the 70's, same with Joe Perry, I have always been a big Aerosmith fan, Johnny Depp, oh yes, I am a HUGE Johnny fan, whatever he has done has almost always been a success, Matt Sorum,I used to be a big Guns and Roses, before things changed and when he was in the band and Robert Deleo from Stone Temple Pilots...so how could you go wrong with a lineup like this?!!!!!

They've played a few shows, have done their first TV appearance,  out on tour right now, which is ending the end of July... Not bad for just getting together to jam and starting off as just a bar band.

I will let you listen to the video below and hear in their own words, Alice, Joe and Johnny, sort of tell the story of how they became the HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES...

SOOOOOO, here's Alice, Joe and Johnny talking about their tribute at the Grammy's to Lemmy and their supergroup band.

#JohnnyDepp sits in front of the late #Lemmy's bass rig, jacket (hanging on the right of the amp) and his boots (bottom right). The rig was at#HollywoodVampires rehearsal for their Grammy's performance. Standing next to such energy was a special moment for everyone, myself included. We all sort of took turns inspecting these rock n roll relics. Also on hand was his much loved#Rickenbacker #bass, which is directly behind Johnny in this photo and hidden from view.
