​Just wanted to share some memories of Jani. I think of him quite often and wish things would have been different, But I still have so many memories and good times.

      There's so many reasons that I loved Jani, he was an awesome singer and front man, he was an entertainer, he could play drums, sing, play guitar and he just knew how to keep the audiences attention. The first time I noticed was seeing the video for "Heaven" towards the end when Jani winked at the camera and backed away, I was a Jani/Warrant fan, I believe that was in 1989.

​      I seen Warrant for the first time live on November 23rd, 1989. They opened for Motley Crue and as much as I liked the Crue. I ended up not even staying for their whole set, I was here to see Jani and Warrant.

     I probably seen Jani/Warrant and Jani solo more times than I've seen any other band live. Beings I'm from Missouri, I seen Warrant a couple times in MO,  Seen Warrant and Jani solo in California, at The Roxy, The Country Club, The Key Club, House Of Blues, and a few other clubs I don't remember. I seen Jani solo at Bourbon Street in New Port Richey, Florida. And not once did Jani ever fail to deliver. Well, there was one time In Lakeland, Florida on the Metal Mania tour, Jani was having a bad night and ended up  walking off stage at the beginning, but I never hated on him or said anything bad, I knew he was going through some things and left it at that. He was still one of the greatest of the 80's and never given the full credit that he actually deserved.
